1969 dart swinger chrome gas cap

I was having mine chromed ... until they found out that the handle portion cannot be chromed .... it is made of magnesium .... apparently ... now the base is chromed and handle is polished ... i am going to look at it tonight .. Might have him strip it back to original and have it painted back to factory color ... As far as looking for one that is not chromed ... look on ebay...
So do you guys have one that is forsale ... and when you lock it down .. does that handle sit at 3-9 o-clock ? or is it sideways ?

It should sit with the handle horizontal when tight.
