Duster to Demon Tail Panel Swap
Here's a few pics showing the Demon structure vs 73 Duster. I forgot to take pics before removing the 73 panel, but the structure looks identical except for the rear 1/4 panel support braces, and the tail light support panels.
On the Demon, the 1/4 supports are extensions of the tail light support panels. On the Duster they are separate from the tail panel. Duster tail lights are held to the outer panel by the trim rings. Demon tail lights do not attach to the outer skin.
The Duster support braces will be removed. Overall an easier swap because the rear frame structure is not modified by the shock mount bumper in the 74 and up.
The 2x2 in the last pic is screwed to the 1/4 panels to maintain correct gap.
Once i get the Demon panel apart I'll post pics of how it mates up.
