He said he would take a realistic bid,

we could all send him a bid for $3500 ,hundred of offers of $3500 all the same

He is smoking the same thing everyone else is selling mopars.I say why not, everything is priced out of range so he can try also. Mark

Maybe it was previously owned by Jon Voight?

The actor or the dentist ?

I had a friend call me yesterday to tell me about a sublime green Dart you saw for sale in town yesterday for $16,500. I figure it must be a 340. Nope, slant 6.

I was offered a 69 Malibu the other day 9K, Its a roller. Thats how it is on around here.

Looks like a cream puff , but if he's looking for a realistic bid as mentioned in the ad, I think the ad will expire before he gets any phone calls.

Must be a Chevy guy selling if for granny.

Nice car, agreed.

But really ouch.

I guess he will driving that car all summer long.

I wish him luck with the sale and maybe he will a sucker.

Just my 2 cents worth

Rick

Very nice car,how many are still in this condition? Guarantee you won't find many. This would be a great driver, sure wouldn't be wrenching on it.But if you want a cheap rusted hulk you can work on,I got a few I'll sell for less money, you can put as much money in them as you wish and maybe someday you can drive.Would I buy it?No! I got too many rusted hulks I want to drive some day!!!

I think he's high on price, but I could see it selling for $8K or more.

another chevy guy trying to cash in on grandmas pride and joy while smoking giant sacks of crack and watching barret jackson re-runs. nice car but way overpriced.

I'd rather give that guy the $16,500 he's asking than all the people asking $7-15000 for rollers that still need paint, trim and everything else in my area. They advertise them as 90% of bodywork complete.

K,but then your stuck with a slant six, three on the tree for $16 000. Have fun with that....

got it off the 80 year old son, much cheaper no doubt. hes a flipper.

Thanks. I would have fun with it. Let me elaborate slightly....the prices people are asking for "projects" in my area have been insane lately. That slant 6, three on the tree might be overpriced, but in comparison to a beat up 72 Charger I saw awhile ago with no drivetrain, tons of rust, dented panels, nothing special to begin with as far as options and they wanted $7000 for it, I'd rather buy an original vehicle I could enjoy without dumping $15000 into something that was junk.

it is so sad and disappointing to see that anyone with a mopar thinks their **** is made of gold just because it has a pentastar on it. this is merely just another example of people thinking their slant 6 car is going to put healthy down payment on a new house, or pay for their drug addictions. it is not just limited to your area, this is going on all over the country. i see junked out ,rusted and beat up piles of crap for ridiculas prices everywhere. these are the greedy people that are screwing up this hobby for those of us who dont have deep pockets. people see cars like that for those kind of prices, others follow suit.. thats my opinion...

I'm amazed that no one here wants their vehicles to be worth anything when at the same time you couldn't buy a 2 door Chevelle of the same condition and year for the same price. I was offered 25 G's for my Signet and although it is an earlier vehicle with unit construction, I wouldn't part with it. Money is only a vehicle of exchange and buying a rust free car in showroom condition with 26,000 miles is worth every penny when its quality counts.
BTW, guy probably is a drinker, potheads know better..

Wow what's next, 4 door 6 cylinder no power anything no AC braking the $ 10k mark,

OUCH

But has I always say its only worth as much as someone is will to pay.

Rick

Yeah, he's smoking' some good ****! While it does look like a good car, that price is nuts! Here's what these guys suggest for values.
