73 Duster Restoration

So I've taken on some side work to keep my self busy and make a few extra bucks. Its nice to be working on a Mopar again and the solid metal makes it a real treat. LOL

So here she is. The 73 Duster was shipped from Cali to Ct last year. Its a typical Cali car, sun baked paint on the hood, roof and trunk lid, any plastic or rubber is dried and crumbling but Id rather deal with that then replacing rusty sheet metal.

I started by stripping the paint with 80 grit on my D/A, This car has its original paint which is pretty thing thanks to the west coast sun so its coming off pretty easy. The roof and trunk lid are going to be another story. 80 grit wont cut it so looks like its going to have a date with a 36 grit grinding disc.
