Tips for engine removal

I dont like ramps for any service really. I would support the front end safely on stands.
throw a sinch strap around the torsion bars to support the front end of the trans, then unbolt disconnect everything that easiest to access underneath, then sit it on the wheels again.
As the slant is lifted it first rotates to straight up. Then the torsion bars lift the front end as the engine weigh is lifted. All this results in lifting the engine quite high. It may be to your advantage to let the air out of the front tires. Some will suggest backing off the torsion bar adjust screws but I dont go there. Everyone does things there own way.
Best bet is wait for several replies and choose what seems best for you and the equipment/tools you have.
