I've been told they will work on 73 and newer cars, but I've never personally installed one. Maybe someone that has can chime in??

To the best of my knowledge, they work fine "BUT" you will be going back to the later style motor mounts, your sway bar will need to be changed, and quite possible the lower control arm sway bar tabs might need to be modified. As far as engine placement, it should be fine:thumblef:
