Will 235-60-15 tires fit on the front of a 74 Duster with disc brakes and not rub? I bought them for the back and fit nice. Problem is- I had to buy all 4 tires-used- to get them. Either $200 for the 4 of them or none at all, guy wouldnt sell just 2. No biggie. Figured its good to have an extra set for burn outs lol. Now, I am contemplating putting the spare 2 up front. I was going to run 15's on back and 14's on front. Now maybe 15's all the way around. Will these rub any? If they will work, I will need to find 2 more 15" ralley wheels, and a steelie for a spare. Im in NW PA if anyone close has 15" Ralleys. I also have a full set of 14" Ralleys taking up space.

I had G60-14's on my old 70 Duster and they fit and didn't really rub. I seem to remember they were basically a 245 60 14 and they were basically square on the sidewalls so I would assume they were the full width of a 245 tire on a 15" rim as well.

Forgive the picture and red sweat pants....it was 1988 or so

are these 6 or 7" wide? any way i cut it real close with a 195/65/15 on a 15 x 7 wheel with a 3 1/2 backspace on my duster. a 235/60 is a good size tire for the front...

I have , I think- 7 in back. I dont have any 15" ralleyes yet for the front. Would it matter between 6 or 7 inch wide?

I have 14x7's up front on my 66 dart with a P215/60R14 and they dont rub so I would imagine the little taller tire would be fine on a duster.

This is my 68 Barracuda with a 215 65 15 up front on a 6" rim and a 245 60 15 on the back on an 8" rim. I would think 235 60 15s would fit all around no problem.

I run a 235/60-15 on a factory 15x7 steel wheel all around on my 74 Dart.
Had to do a tiny bit of trimming on the bottom of the front fenders. Used a cut off wheel.
It was a little closer to the fender than I liked. Easy deal, you would never know it was trimmed. It's a great choice in rim and tire size, completely changed the look of that car.

it may change the backspace, but really not enough to matter. here is a 15 x 7 with a 195/65/15 ,these wheels have a 4 " backspace... no rub what so ever

I had 15x7 rallyes with 4" bs and 215x70 tires and they rubbed so I went with 15x6 and 215x65 and have had no issues since.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think 14s will work with 74 model discs. You were always stuck with 15s on front.

Not correct.
To my knowledge, no A body ever came with 15's from the factory.
14's were pretty standard on the later A's.

Thanks everyone! I will be trying to find a set if 15" bbh ralleyes then for the front. Daredevil- I have 14" ralleye bbh pattern on it now with disc brakes- I think 205/70 or 195/70/14 and theres plenty of room.
My 14" tires that I was going to use are both cracking and dry rotted-so since I now have 4 15" tires-may as well change it over. Again- Thanks everyone!
