For Sale Vintage Air Gen-II Super Cooler Universal Climate Control System

No one that I know of makes a specific air unit kit for an early Abody. I installed the Vintage Air in my 66 dart. I took the heater box out, I had the firewall holes sheet metaled and painted when I had the car repainted. You have several options as well, someone here on Abody was selling a cover plate for the heater box hole in the firewall and you can use the existing heater hose holes if you choose. I personally bought a bulkhead plate and ran the 4 hoses to the bulkhead plate mounted on the firewall and then to the compressor etc. Vintage air does sell the mounting bracket for your engine for the compressor as do several other vendors on the internet. You would need to fab a mounting bracket for the air heat defrost unit which is very simple.. some stock metal w/predrilled holes from lowes is what I used..you can make the install as pretty or as ugly as you choose.
