Average age of Mopar Maniacs.

my dad bought a 69 charger R/T brand new to sister the B5 blue 68 hemi coronet R/T 4spd that he also bought brand new and sitting in the garage when i was 2 years old. sadly both the cars were lost when the house burned to the ground. i was born Mopar, i eat , sleep and bleed the pentestar. i have had so many Mopars over the years, and i actually sold it all off and got out of the hobby for about 8 years, but i have been slowly working my way back into it. to this day i bang my head into everything for having gotten out of it....

Wow! Wish my dad had bought one of those cars when I was growing up - even used! LOL

Instead my dad owned the following cars after I was born:

Used 1961 Red Plymouth Fury (Hence my love of fins)
Used 1956 Dodge 1/2 ton Custom pick up with a V8 Poly and Automatic trans
Traded the Fury for a brand new 4 door 1964 Dodge Dart slant six auto (My first car I drove on the road at 16)
Then he bought a 1969 Plymouth Station Wagon
Bought a 1966 Dodge Polara for me to drive after I blew up the slant six doing stupid stuff - He was nicer to me about being an idiot then I would have been
Traded the Wagon for a 1975 Dodge Coronet (looked like a police car and was fun to scare the crap out of people on the road with

That was the end of Chrysler products for my Dad as the dealer closed their doors in town and his friend who owned it retired - John Neate Chrysler in Upper Sandusky, Ohio.

It was a "Neate" place to buy Mopars - LOL!
