273 commano on the dyno wooooow

I've heard and read lots of 12 second stories about the 273. The one thing they all have in common is headers. You have to let the air out of it. I suspect the engineers used the exhaust manifolds as a rev limiter of sorts. If the engines were supposed to rev past 6K the tach would have registered above 6K.

Well Men ..... I got the 273 all back together after installing a ld4b intake and a holley 650 dp jetted to stock specs... The 273 seemed to be faster before in stock mode .. It just did not rev like like did before . in stock mode it reved real fast ...... I think it is way too much carb with that holley.
what do you guys think ..
Oh yeah..... runs like a kitten .. real smooth and no valve train ticking .
