I have a 74 duster mini tubbed and springs moved under frame, was wondering with a 10'' rim what the back space would be,anyone have pics?
Thanks

..........mine are 5in back space with lots of room.....74 duster with a 68 road runner diff..........kim..........i can mearure if u need me 2....

That would be great if you could
Thanks

If you want the wheel centered in the wheeltub, it takes about 8.8" backspace which may be tough to find. That backspace is from rim edge (+.5" each side), not bead.

A stock A body 8.75 rear with BBP conversion uses ~7.75" backspace 10" rim to get them under the car.

Intrestring because I wanted to go 9.5in with 6in BS.

I have 10 inch wheel with 7.5 BS 295/50/15 tires on mine. The rear tires rub on the lip of the wheel well. Probably have 2-3 inches of space to the leaf spring though. B Body rear end also.

Here you go I will try to take some from under the car if I get a chance.

You guys should also list which year B body rear you have like Kim did. The B body rears vary in width by a few inches depending on the year, so that could make a significant difference in backspace.

Housing widths, flange to flange:

A BODY
'66-'72= 52 5/8"

B BODY
'62-'63= 53 1/4" (And '64 Max Wedge)
'64 = 55 5/8" (Exc. Max Wedge)
'65-'67= 54 1/4"
'68-'70= 54 15/16"
'71-'74= 57 7/8"
'71-'73 wagon= 59 7/16"

I have a 67 rear in mine with an 18x12 and 9.1 bs. A Demon/Duster could get away with less bs probably in the neighborhood of 8.25-8.50 since they don't have to tuck inside the wheel lip.

I do not know the year or vehicle it came from as it was already in the car when I purchased it.
