How would this carb work on a 10.2:1 416 w edelbrock heads that flow 275 @ .600 w a Holley Strip dominator intake. I was leaning towards an 850 HP carb. Would the 950 be to much. .566/.586 cam.

A 850hp is way bigger then a 950HP..Doesnt make sense but it is..
The 950 would be good for your combo.
Here is a direct email from Pro Systems when asked if my carb is ok to use for my new combo! Which is a 500" motor.

Thats a 950 HP carb. The 950HP has a 750 size venturi with an 850 baseplate.

You need a much bigger carb. That will be like going down the track at 3/4 throttle.

See if you can find a used 850 or 1000 if you are on a budget. They are much bigger than
the 950HP
