(solved) How do I turn this thing off?

Technically it's trying to tell you something is going on with your vehicle so I don't think it would hurt to have it scanned to get the trouble code. Then after you find the code you can have it removed. However the trouble light will more than likely come back on if the problem isnt addressed.
