I moved to the Mobile Al area in Dec 2009, and am just now getting back into the car scene after a long absence. My question is are there any anual car shows/ swap meets in the central coastal area? I know about Crusing the Coast in Ms. and may try to make it to the Moultrie Ga Swap meet this weekend. My assumption is with all this sun and beautiful weather there has to be things going on. David
 
there is a big one at the battleship but not sure when. If I hear about it in time maybe I can come down. I go to the Cruisin' Coast in Oct. There are several in your area on here so maybe some will chime in. I am in Tuscaloosa, Joe
 
also you should check out Welborn's Musuem in Alexander City, Al. It is very nice, has lots of hemi cars. He turned an old dealership into a museum complete with parts dept, showroom and service dept. Mostly 71 Chargers of every color and some wing cars along with a few off brand but all collectables and rare. If you ever in Tuscaloosa area let me know, Joe
 
Mopars at the Battleship, Cruisin the coast, one at Bellingrath Gardens, and a lot of little ones at local restaurants,events, etc
 
Go to Google and put in Alabama car show, or Alabama swap meets. It will list all the stuff in your area. I hope this helps.

I tried that. the sites seem extremely convoluted and most were outdated ( events happened 2 years ago) but to be honest I didn't spend a lot of time looking. David
 
If there are promoters listed on the sites from Google, contact them. The most they can tell you is better than nothing. Just a suggestion.

I will be at Mopars at the Battleship this weekend, anyone else going? I plan to kill a few sets of batteries taking pics, and will post a bunch here. David
