show me your 70 Darts!!!!

Well,so far I havent seen a Dart the same color as mine.Dark tan poly,Code T6.

In fact I've never seen that color on anything other than an Aspen station wagon!!Most guys would probably paint it something more exciting like plumb crazy or hemi orange.Im gonna stick with it.

I did find this old ad pic.Pretty much what it will look like when done. And yes ,thats the color.

P.S;why is my sig pic not showing up?Do I need to attach it every time?Am I missing something?

That pick is someones car not an ad, it has Goodyear Eagle-ST tires. Definitely keep it that color. I like the "other" color cars.

Thats because there isnt one,lol!

I would have to un-bury it first..

Ha!I thought I had lost this pic!!

This is my dart about 15 years ago.It had Duster hubcaps on it at the time.
The white is primer. The original paint had all been sanded down as I was in body shop school then.

I paid $300 for it.It was running and driving back then..

The right 1/4 has since been cut off.The right side door has been replaced as has the fender and right 1/4.I've acquired a 360 4 bbl from a truck as well as a heavy duty 727.Also have got a manual steering box and column and 4 piston disc brakes. It came with an 8 3/4 which has a 742 center section,a 904 and 318 2 bbl.Nuthin special so i get to do whatever I want and nobody complains!

Here is my latest project.

Hey!70408dart!!!Is your paint code T6?

That color looks VERY familiar..looks a lot like my Darts color before sanding.

My Dart, we took everything off the front end except the inner fenders I don't know what order the pics will come up. The car is together now but needs some frame repair on the back end.

Might be getting the 440, core support and inners or snout bars in a few weeks!

My first car back in the late 80s was a 70 Swinger. It was dark green. I picked up this 70 last fall and if you change everything from green to blue, it is identical to my first car, except this one has power steering.

It's is the straightest car I have ever owned. The trim and bumpers are perfect. It doesn't have any dings on it anywhere. The original paint is fading, but it is pretty darn nice.

It is probably going to receive a W5 408. Unless my wife decides she likes the 70 better. Then the W5 will go in the 68.
