I'm finally getting back on my Scamp after being laid for for a while since my shoulder surgery. My shoulder is about 80% so i'm ready to start working on it again,i been going stir crazy not being able to do anything the last couple weeks!
Anyhow just before my surgery i managed to get the rear back in and got everything i replaced in the back painted.Today i threw a set of tires back on it and got off the jackstands, gotta roll it outside to do some sandblasting on the rocker sills and gotta do some rust repair on the doorjambs before i can hang the new qtrs.
So here's how it looks right now i'm gonna do the sandblasting this week, hopefully it will be ready for paint by spring.

Glad your feeling better, and now you can go have some more fun. Good Luck on it, it's looking good so far.

Scamp is looking good. Glad to here your shoulder is better. Its been awhile since I have been on here, so dont know what happened to your shoulder, but glad you are getting better. So now get on the ball and finish that scamp..lol:headbang:

Hey Brett good to see you back, where you been hiding?

My shoulder i tore up at work back in May dislocated it and tore all the ligaments off it,NOT FUN!

Ouch!!! Sounds like that hurt. Been pretty busy working all of the time..Heck, I havent made it to carlisle yet this year. I ended up working the weekend of mopar carlisle. Only ran my car at the strip a few times this year.:cussing Glad you are doing better. Did you have to go through a bunch of therapy?

I'm in therapy twice a week, not sure yet when i'll be going back to work but i'm not in a big hurry!

Hay EvilScamp!
Glad you are doing good.
Looks like the shoulder is begging to heal for you:headbang:
And you are getting back on course.
The scamp is looking good. But don't heat that shoulder up to quick.
Or it will never be the same.
Glad to here you are still doing therapies.
I am sure you don't like it but it will be worth your time in the long run.

Hey Kev,
I'm at work right now so I can't see the pics, but I can remember what your car looked like and the pics of the tubs are still fresh in my mind.
Good to hear your shoulder is coming along. I got back from the specialist here and I have a torn rotator cuff in mine. She gave me a cortizone shot 10 days ago and I'm doing therapy at home. It is starting to feel better too. Hopefully I won't have to have surgery. I find out more on November 23.

Jack

Cortizone shot's sure do work if the Dr did a good job locating the stuff in the right spot. What did you think about that big *** needle they use ?
I have had a few and each shot will some times last up to 3 mounths.
Hope every thing go's good by November 23rd Jack.

Hey Kev:
Glad to see you back at work on the Scamp. Don't over do it on the shoulder though, because it'll just be short term gain for long term pain. Give it LOTS of time to heal properly...especially if you're in the OldFart club. :)

Latest update on the Scamp.
Cleaned all the undercoating off the inner fenderwell yesterday.

After being cut apart for a year i finally started welding on the new qtrs.
Left one is all welded up,right side is all trimmed and fitting pretty good just have it screwed fast with self tapping screws and clamped fast now gonna start welding it sometime this week.
Once all this is done frame connectors will be next.

Really nice work Kev!!!! When you are finished with your scamp, you can mini tub mine...lol:D:grin:

Probably be done in another year unless i manage to injure myself again!

Did you start on that rear yet Brett?

Started tearing it apart. Going to order my ladder bar kit in a couple of weeks if things go as planned. Gonna sell the cal tracs to help buy some of my parts.
Im not in too much of a hurry as long as I make it to the mopar show in may at Mason Dixon..

Slowly progressing right along, pulled the rest of the front suspension and K-member out and got all the undercoating scraped off the left inner fenderwell still have the holes for the battery box to weld shut yet since the battery will be relocated to the trunk.

So your 1/4's fit good?

Who is the manufacturer/supplier and how wavy are they?

I need a left hand side but Im trying to find a good original because of the spotty quality of aftermarket panels.

They fit about as well as all the other aftermarket ones do,i got them from Auto Body Specialties.
They are a little wavy but not to bad shouldn't take to much to make them nice and straight.
