I just picked one up.

230/236 .488-.491" lift 110 LSA. I think it will work pretty well in my car with the 3.91s and 10" converter.

If your running one how do you like it ? Im hoping it has a ton of mid range pull to it.

It should work well if I have Chris do a low gear trans for me. Low end cant be to bad, Werent you having traction problems.

I was playing with desk top dyno and it does seem to come on hard at 3000rpms. Between 3000 and 3500 it jumps 50 horse.

Tony whats your best past so far? I think your gonna like the 4.30s.

13.212 @ 104.
To be honest at a light if I stomp it, I start to say this sucks.
But it usually comes out this suuuuuuuuuuuuucks when she hits
around 3000 rpm and I get pushed back in the seat :D

The gears will help that. How much converter are you using?

Sounds like Im gonna need more gear too

That's bigger than the cam I'm using. A Crane 216/228 @ .050 .454/.480 lift... I've got 12.21 with that one!

As I recall I think with my *** in my car I got you by over 700lbs.
3500 vs your 2800.

Adam, I have a 10" 2800-3200 stall

That's true. But you've got more lift & duration than me. And more converter.

Maybe I'm just a better driver. :D

3.91 gears with a track-lock, 11" converter that stalls to around 2200.

I was actually thinking about going with a XE284H one of these days. Or maybe a XE285HL.

I am running the XS274S10 if you guys are referring to the grind numbers. Durations 236/242 @ 50 and .502/.511 lift. It am not sure how the low end as I have 2.76 gears and my car doesn't get traction at all right now. But it seems pretty responsive. Mid range is pretty wild and with those gears I am a terror on the freeway. I can go from 45 to 90 in a blink of an eye and 45 to needle buried in 2 blicks! I am debating on going to the track before I swap my rear just to see what it will run for comparrisons sake. I am stepping up to a 3.73 gear and suregrip when I do my rear end swap.

I still can't decide on caltracs or super stocks for keeping it planted.

i had that same cam in my barracuda a couple years ago i think its an excellent cam i like the way it pulled from 3000 rpms on up to 6500 where i always shifted it still seemed like it wanted to pull more if i wanted to chance slinging out a rod or two

That sounds like a solid lifter can. I think AdamR is talking about the hydraulic.

I was considering this cam for my 360, but now I'm leaning toward a Scott Brown cam. I need to call him and see what he recommends.

I thought about going with one of Scotts cams also but I snagged this one of Ebay for less then Summit sells it for.

Yes it is a solid. How can you tell that from my numbers?

The solid even though it looks bigger on paper will idle better and make more low end. It will probably pull higher to though.
