wipers are driving me crazy!

I replaced all the bushings after I got the car as the arms fell off when I turned on the wipers.... I have no idea why the cross bar keeps coming off. It seems like it just pops off after about one motor rotation. The bushings I got were from autozone help section multi pack...

Also;
I have found that if I don't "vent" the bushings before seating them they will "pop" off easy. I usually poke a hole in the top of the bushing with a safety pin so the trapped air can escape during seating. Then lube, then seat bushing. Bushing seating tool; Big vise grips with a socket big enough to go over the bushing duct taped to the vise grip jaw. After this "venting" process I haven't had any trouble with the "help" bushings at Advance or Autozone. The only trouble I have with them now?; ever notice mopar "help" bushings only 2 to a pack while other makes have 3 in a pack? That way we have to buy 2 packs for a complete set!
