Dana 60 - Pinion depth problem

Someone else hit it. If the measurement you have is larger than what's required, you need to put shims behind the race.

Mopar pinion offset on a D60 is 1 3/8" longer on drivers side tube from case centerline. I take it you wanted a rear with a total width of about 51". Normal axle gap is 1.75" on a D60.

It's easier to measure from the case insertion point of the tube to flange. D60 cases are generally 17.5" in width. I have a spreadsheet that kicks everything out, tube lengths, axle lengths, etc. I'm guessing the axle lengths you have may be close enough.
