Attaching points any better on Stinger than AAR? They had problems a few years ago- speaking of which, I believe the "Green Brick" Valiant was one of the cars I know of that the customers weren't happy about. Well, i dont know. I have an AAR bolt on (hinged) hood on my 69 dart. and its twice the hood, and also twice the weight. It was gel coated white and close to perfect. It has AAR molded into the underside. This Stiger hood i would classify as a "race only" (pin on) hood. Its grey gel coat that looks pretty thin, its half or a third the weight, and has a stinger decal molded into the bottom resin. If i remember, it was about a hundred bucks cheaper. I dont have any reason to talk bad about it, it fit pretty good. I do wonder if it will hold up at 120MPH without a center pin. The scoop appears to be a pretty nice heavy unit and hopefully it will add a little stiffness once bolted on. Is Stinger a new company? if i understand correctly, Stinger baught out AAR.
