My .02 is if your gonna black out the hood, you should get the six pack hood... but again, thats just me..

I concur.
The six pack hood only works on some cars , but later Darts are one of them.
Flat hood and flat black ( call it matte if you want , but it is what it is ) would not look too good in my opinion.
I do like the sleeper aspect of a flat or stock hood , but it should be the same color as the rest of the package.

+3 on the 6-pack scoop. If you were cutting up an original hood that'd be a different story.

if you like the sleeper look, leave it be....if you want the factory performance look the black hood and scoop is it. personally i wouldnt just paint the hood black without something on the hood, but thats just me....or just paint the fiberglass hood white with a white scoop...or paint the glass hood white and leave the scoop black....am i making it worse ? LOL

I'd go with a six pack fiberglass hood, ( or another steel hood you can cut for a scoop) and keep your stock hood in case you want to go back to stock appearence. This is exctly what I'm doing with my duster....

I removed the original flat hood and installed a six pack fiberglass hood on my car. It is painted the body color also. It doesn't "stick out" as much and it allowed me to install a 1" spacer under the carb. This was worth 2 mph in the quarter. It was worth it.

Well you know what I'm gonna say.

Put on the fiberglass hood with the six pack scoop and get the moroso air pan kit to make the scoop functional. you would be surprised at the performance.
"Just my opinion"..........
