I like the fact that out of the painted grills, almost no two are painted the exact same!

The day i picked it up 1975 Duster 360 no engine or tranny, drivers door, bent corner on hood. Its now about 50% done after its driveable its interior and paint. Currently has a 408 Stroker w/904 tranny looking for a small block 727 eventually. My first restoration big learning experience. Next project is going to be a 65 Chevy Chevelle

Adam, if you ever get the notion to do a painted grill, hold off on that one. I have the original from the car hanging in my mom's garage. I'm going there on Friday, I'll try to remember to grab it.

Oh, and a few wayback pics of Krusty back in LA. I'll take all of my photos, and put them on my Photobucket account, and make it available soon. Maybe this weekend.

As soon as I find a Body Shop I would like to get this back to the original B5 blue it should be. and a new vinyl top. Sooo if anyone knows of a fair body shop or a person that is interested in paint & body work around the Allentown, PA area please send me a PM, there is very little rust to be repaired and should be fairly straight forward.

Is it me or does just about every 74 Duster have the twin snorkle scoop?

for me, it was the only one i liked that would fit on the hood without running into the hood lines. the dual scoops just didnt work for me and my six pack scoop would run past the lines and didnt look right.

Here is mine....

My $800.00 73 work in progress runs and drives.
V-8, 4-speed 8.75.
Just completed the suspension, and built a motor over the winter.
Going to try to get the body work done this summer.
I do all my own works so progress is slow.

73AbodEE : Hey... whats with the pics? Is there vaseline on the lens or something? The photos remind me of Penthouse magazine porno shots. I used to keep rubbing my eyes trying to focus better!

My 75 Duster.

lmao, stupid cell pics, ive dropped my phone too many times lol , i know they are horrible .... it does look like vaseline LOL

I just mention that because the hood scoop was the only reason I noticed my car when it was for sale. It was covered in snow but I say that snorkle scoop and was like hot damn thats a dart or duster. So the next day I stopped at the place and bought it, if it hadn't been for the scoop I would have drove right on by.

Here is ours not quite done but getting there
