Pillar mounted tach and gauges

Has anyone mounted their tach and gauges on the pillar? Post pics of your gauge pods and tach set ups
 
If you have a cage Auto Meter sells the pieces to mount gauges to it....
 
I have a Sunpro super tach mounted to my A pillar. I used one of the trim mounting screws through the base. No mods required, and it works great. I can get pictures tomorrow, if you would like.

I mounted mine using the same screw used to mount a pillar trim. Flattened the mount that would make it mount on top of the steering column.

i know this thread is old, but maybe someone else may have interest they just dont know it yet ;) time to revive it! made my own gauge mounts for my 66. went to radioshack and picked me up a couple 130 degree LED's so i wont have to tear this apart ever again to change a bulb. ill be running mechanical water temp and oil pressure gauges in mine. didnt turn out half bad!

thank you! not yet, its was 11 degrees today.....wasnt diggin the idea of sitting under the dash stringing wires and copper tubing....haha when i do though ill post em.

i was reading bout that, however i wanted this on the cheap, this mold was 8 bucks through work, and i had everything else to make it work. cant pass that up!
