Anyone by chance know how big you need on a spraygun to spray truck bed liner?

I want to do my wheel wells so it does not need to look pretty.

Ive never sprayed it but I would think you would want a big tip, 2.0 or 2.2. The tech sheet should tell you what tip size and pressure to use.

Yeah you need to use a schutz gun, they're cheap and work quite well. I assume part of the reason you get such a textured look is the way the gun literally spits the stuff out.

You will be sorry if you don't use the correct gun for it.

IMO I would use black chip guard not bedliner. That or the black aerosol can of 3M Rubberized undercoating. Puts a fine clean texture and chip resistant. I used the 3M on my new gas tank after I installed a sump. I would NOT use a paint gun!!!
Just my 2 cents

i use the name brand in a can and that stuff works great i got the front wheel wells with one can bout ten bucks a pop the gallons of bedliner sold are pretty high up in the fiftys i jus made sure to clean the wells up good with the wire wheel and rust inhibitor primer and ospho

I did find a dedicated gud but it is 40 dollars and I am just not prepared to spend that right now. I was hoping my existing 1.8 on my suction feed would be big enough but it looks like it isn't going to be. I also bought the roller but I was hoping to build up the air in it to try and use for some sound deadening.

Undercoating spray gun works well. That's what I used when I did the Herculiner in my old Wrangler's tub.

I have seen good results with brush/roll-on bedliner. I think Duplicolor makes it with actual chunks of rubber in it, so it is textured.

I sprayed the whole inside of my suburban with al's liner and the kit i bought came with a texture gun. It was a harbor freight brand wall texture gun. Works great and it came out with a nice texture. You just had to adjust the air pressure and trigger pull for the desired texture.
