2" drop spindle

I got 65 Cuda that I'm installing 2" drop spindles & 11 3/4" brakes what rim size can I run ? Haven't decided if I'm gonna run flares or not want run it Time Attack (Solo 1) so I need big boots all around. I like to run 17" for weight reason but hear I need 18"-19" to clear tire rods anyone with experience with this combo.
