Check your yard for any kind of poisons. One of the guys that you fired may be trying to get even. Hopefully not, but it doesn't hurt to check to make sure there is nothing in your yard.
I walked the yard and saw nothing out of the ordinary... Of course they may have ate whatever it was, leaving no trace. No way would Rick have done that to me. He's got a GSD himself and I stopped by his place on Saturday off the clock to bring him his personal stuff and a bag of biscuits for his pooch.
