Merlin's Acting Weird....

For arthritis, check with your vet. My older dalmatian had arthritis and very stiff legs. My vet put him on Rimidyl (or Rymidyl) to help with the pain. Then the lady from Dalmatian Rescue also suggested Cosequin. I then checked with my vet and he said that we could use BOTH TOGETHER. The combination of both together acts like a Vicatin does to humans for the dogs. He was getting around a little better for a while. My ex has her 16 y.o. black lab/irish wolfhound mix on it now and it is helping her also. Anyhow the Rimidyl and Cosequin acts on the dogs like Vicatin does to humans and helps dampen the pain for them. They sometimes feel like they are young again and try to run/jump like when they are younger and they try to run/jump like they were younger.

I'm thinking about getting her some magnesium condroitin (same thing as osteo bi-flex). I work for a company that makes generic OTC medicines and can get it for near free. It should help, but she's just getting old and nearing her time.
