Now that is weird, the injector stacks are through the hood on one pic, the shot of the motor looks photo-shopped and the other shots have a stock hood. I'd have to see that one in person!!!

As with all things ebay, I'd only pay that much if I could pick the car up in person, verify the title. As for the price, to build a car like that you'd have at least 40K into it. Close to 20K for the Hemi alone.

If you could put the rest of the car together for another 10K you're a better man than I. Maybe, just maybe if someone scored a deal on the Hemi, say found someone looking to ditch a 1/2 finished project, you might be able to make money at 30K.

The only other way someone is making money on this project is if they bought a near finished Cuda that simply needed paint for 6K with a nice interior, painted themselves for a thousand, and then dropped a 17K Hemi into it.

Regards,

Joe Dokes

That does seem cheap

What troubles me is that someone who wants to sell a 30K car cannot seem to afford 30 bucks for a cam damera. Some of those engine shots and the ones of the interior are just plain useless

It explains it in the text of the add. It comes with both the Hilborn setup for EFI and a 4bbl EFI. He's showing what both would look like.

In this economy I don't know many people who expect to make money on a project. This could easily be a 10 year old project at that. We did a 68 Charger will lots of donated parts and labor. The body and paint were some of the nicest I have ever seen with a stroked 400 BB lots of billet and custom sound system and interior. It sold for $24k.

Looks like 2 different cars, one photographed at a car show, another in a drive way. If you look at the back windows there are sickers on the quarter glass and the windshield of one (with out the injectors thru the hood). Might be old pics, but screams scammer who took pics of some cars for the ad.

Looks like a steal of a deal, the guy has 6 sales, probably got the car from someone,
I am building a 68 SS, as close to original as possible, I have 56 in it now, and not quite finished. Of course I have mostly original or repops on my parts, big difference. So 30 is a bargain, if you want a 68 w/big hemi & auto. I agree with some of the above statements, you cannot even get close to building one for 40.:burnout:

30,000 I have way more then that in my car.I should have held on to my money and bought that one.

hey...I saw that car on the Ohio Turnpike this afternoon...a couple of Hillbilly's (no offense to my kin) had it on a trailer and were headin towards Pittsburg....WFO!

Didn't that Romney dude teach you not to put your dog in a cage and have him ride on the roof??
