More Connecting Rod Length Theory Questions

I know I not given you the answer your looking for but here my take on unless your running Nascar or some other high RPM highly competitive racing where every last advantage counts because differences would be small. I'd focus on more on heads, cam and intake that being said if your building a mopar you already got great rod ratio unless your stroking your engine still I'd only worry about if your going custom pistons. The reason I say that I'm in the process of spec'ing my 273 build and since I need custom pistons and new rods anyway I figured put the longest rods I can afford to put in so I can get the lightest piston which I think is the real advantage. So I'm going with a 6.3" rod with Chevy pin size for more weight savings and 2" rod bearing so I can offset the crank for an even lighter piston but if I didn't need custom piston I stick with the stock rod.
