More Connecting Rod Length Theory Questions

I got the impression the OP is not talking about changing stroke, but rather ROD LENGTH and PISTON PIN height

Maybe I'm mistaken, but that's what I took from his post.
Thats what I took from it also.Isn't useing a long rod just for having less "swing" on the rod.ie:the upper rod end pivots less with a long rod than a short rod which uses less hp robbing motion.Useing long rods means using pistons with the pin into the rings which doesn't sound as desireable.I dont feel that it would change the torque as the top of the piston would still run in the same path and travel 3.31" or 4" what ever the crank stroke is.
