I am lookin at the whiplash to its just that you said that it has good power and sound. I figured you were a reliable source and didnt have to ask again thats all. And the comp cams one I got a buddy willin to sell a new one to me for 100 bucks.
Is it a NEW Thumpr cam? If it is, buy it. That's a good deal. One more time and then I am out of this. The Whiplash and Thumpr grinds are DESIGNED to do EXACTLY what you are looking for. I cannot be any clearer than that. Will other cams work? Sure, but there's a certain amount of guesswork involved. With the Thumpr and Whiplash grinds, all the guesswork has been removed. If it's a small cube like a 318 or if it's a close to stock 340 or 360, pick one of the smaller thumpr or Whiplash grinds. An engine with more kick? One of the larger ones. Just know that the larger you go, the more you'll need to match converter and gear. The smaller grinds are much more forgiving but will still deliver a good solid thump. Jesus man.
