hello all, have a 68 cuda 440ci manual, motor a 66 low comp and its started breathing little,no smoke but rings prob on way,it has 906 heads and could do with a freshen up, i saw this on the evil bay and stuff like this not turn up that often, would it be overkill on a street car? be easier to buy and build this up then swap over.............1966 Mopar / Chrysler 440ci engine block.
Crank & copper gaskets not inc. in this sale but available separately.
Big bored to 488ci,Bore is at .60'' will go to 1.20'' as it is a 1966 thick wall block,
Full stud kit fitted for head and crank.
Elephant ear mounts for race car fitting.(bolt to front cover mount's) ears supplied in listing
Any inspection welcome,
BIDDING STARTS AT £200............HE HAS FORGED CRANK TO GO WITH THIS ALSO

No such thing as a thickwall 440 and prob more like they are less common in Europe and they just bore the snot out of them (bad move IMO). It's nothing I'd say go buy.

I agree. At .060 over it's been bored its last time. You also can't bore it to 488, that would be accomplished with a stroker crank. He probably ran it and it ran hot so he tore it down...
