Mustang boss 302 vs mopar!

Ford had to put exotic, canted valve Cleveland style heads on a 302 to get it to amount to anything. The Chrysler heads only had the pushrod holes moved and had special offset rockers. That's all they needed. Had the 340 T/A engine come in a Dart, Demon or Duster, who wouldda been whose *****? The Chrysler cars were damned competitive for what they weighed. The rustang's curb weight was 3415 pounds. The 70 340 Dart's curb weight was 3015 pounds. Had there ever been a T/A Dart, or AAR Duster, the rustang would never have stood a chance. Even as it was with the heavier cars, the rustang got beat a good bit. Ford sucks.
