I don't want to fight with my friend StrokerScamp but I sold the stock 273 out of my Signet 18 years ago for 800 after storing it for 10 years. Those motors are great and the lifters are great to have as well.. I say box it and keep it
18 years ago things were way different. The engine had value as a daily driver to a lot of people. Not too many daily drivers now and little demand. I am like you, I say crate it and keep it.
