hello all. are superstock springs generally regarded as a drag race straight line or general all rounder? please excuse my ignorance! i am putting together what you guys call a kinda autocross as apose to strip car.its a b/b 1.18" torsion bars tubular u.c.a and loki or bilstien shocks when £ allow......i rebuilt my saggin rear leafs with some strips from a commercial vehicle:wack: and these loads better as they were almost horizontal but i always had it in my head to swap over to somthing propper! theres a set on a uk forum, claims new old stock 40 yr old would save a packet from shipping, are these worth having or is there somthing better for track / autocross use etc, cheers nathan.

Suspension set up for drag racing is very different than for autocross. That being said i am in the same boat. I use mine as a driver and a 12 second bracket racer and i just spent two days on the watkins glen road course. I have .920 torsion bars, bilsteins, and two left 3000 pound ss springs. With a 3700 pound car it doesnt sit too high. Two sets of wheels and tires help. 15 inch Mt et streets for the quarter and 17 inch modern tires for the street and road course.

many thanks for the info! i only ideally want to do it once, its a drastic improvment now to when the car limped home with me 10 odd years ago i was keen yet daunted at the struggle ahead but definatley worth it!
