Thanks for the helpful responses - Ill use the MSD 6 - I wasnt sure if the 5.7 application in the sticky thread for Map63vette would work with a 6.1.
I guess I was too bound up over using the factory stuff when I don't need to.....
Do I assume the only other ignition component I'll need is the harness P# MSD 88863?
