I picked up a stock sway bar for my 68 Cuda and see the K-frame has the holes to bolt it up but my lower control arms don't have the tabs so I need to weld some on. Does anyone have a set of lower arms off their car to snap a couple pics of with measurements to show me exactly where they go? I'm sure I could figure it out but having a pic and measurements would sure make it easier. Thanks

Do a search for: Lower control arm sway bar mounts. (On this site) You'll find what you need there.

If you plan to make your own sway bar tabs to weld on, You might also look at aftermarket stiffener plates that weld on the bottoms of the arms. You could just make it all at once and even in all 1 piece to weld on. I can't offer why to or why not to, just suggesting.
Cheers

The photo in post 3 looks ok for an aftermarket bar, but the factory bar never went out that close to the pivot point of the LBJ. Try this.

The 73 and up sway bar went through the middle of the K and attached closer to the center of the lower arm.
The original poster stated he had the earlier pre 73 sway bar that went around the K . The earlier picture of the tab location is correct for that bar.

HemiX posted a pic of 67-72 sway bar tabbed LCA's

2Darts posted the 73-76 tabbed bars

We made our own stiffening plates with integral sway bar tab for my son's Barracuda. Not hard to do. I don't think I have any pics, though (and certainly not on this computer).

Thanks a bunch for all the great info. I didn't mention it but I did plan on making stiffening plates too. Never thought about making it all in one piece but that's an idea. Thanks again for the pics and ideas guys.

Make the plates and install the arms without drilling the holes for the end links. Set the car at ride height and see where the hole should be drilled. We did a pair with some home-made tabs and ended up shearing off the link bolt from the tension.....

Thanks Jim. I was planning doing something like that.
