hey artie that red rag you saw in the motor was in there when it was started up last lol the bearings where all new but put in dirty so there was some groves in a couple of them, the cam looks great also found some metal in the pan but can't find where it came from.

like I said hooks I didn't know any thing about it other than It ran.and sounded good.as far as the pan that was lying on the floor and was just put on to set it on the floor.hell its hard to tell what was in there.I knew it would be tore down and cleaned and checked before I run it.I'm so glad you did...this motor belonged to a so called friend? .....
