67 Dart Post Project
My new door panels came today!! I figured it would only take an hour or two to install them.... wrong. They are of excellent quality, look great, and are the correct dimensions. Problem is they are at least twice as thick as the originals. No matter how hard a tried I couldn't get them to slide into the under retaining/trim piece. I even stretched the trim piece open as much as I could but it still would only go in about a third of the way. The problem this caused is it moved the panel down about 1/4 inch which made it impossible to get the bottom clips in. I think the panel is stiff enough to be fine without all the clips so I'll call it good. I may add a little velcro along the bottom just to make sure it doesn't move. I also wired up and grounded the fuel sending unit tonight.
