We're moving and I need to sell the Dart project. I Have to move for work (unexpectedly) and I happen to be in the middle of restoring the Dart. Just finished the majority of my 79 powerwagon restoration, so I'm taking that with me. I just need to unload the Dart.

Here's the skinny on the car:

1969 Dart GT.
Was a daily driver when I first bought it 2 years ago and I began tear down last fall.
Ran perfectly fine before I decided to restore it.

While it is somewhat disassembled, I have every last part...piece of trim...interior...screw...etc bagged and tagged. I just began disassembly; therefore, the car is 90% still together.

What is has currently:
318...originally a 273 car from research I've completed. I do not have the original 273.
Originally a “British racing green” kind of color....I apologize I don't know what the official Mopar paint code would be.
It currently is painted red and the paint is peeling...which is why I started to tear it down for repaint etc.
7 ¼ rear end
Auto trans...console shift.

It does have some typical Mopar rust around the rear wheel wells and behind the two front fenders.
The fenders are an easy fix with patch panels, as are the rear wheel wells.
I planned to cut out the rear wheel wells and make a Hemi clone, but that would obviously be up to you.
The floors, trunk...etc are all intact...no rust holes....just some surface rust here and there.

As you can tell in the pics from when I first bought it, the car is complete and has all of the necessary hard-to-find (and expensive) trim pieces...console...etc.

What I have to go possibly with it:

I bought a 400 engine for it with plans to do a 451 build.
The engine is on a roller stand that will go with it.

I also have a BB 727 that will go with it. I bought it used when I bought the 400 engine...I've never used the 727 and would suggest having it rebuilt.

I also have a 8.8 rear end out of an explorer I planned to do the popular switch.
It has 3.73 gears with sure grip.

A complete passenger door. When I began stripping paint and exploring for rust and body filler, I found a decent size dent on the original passenger door that a previous owner attempted to pull out with screws unsuccessfully. Someone just slapped on about an inch or so of filler to cover it up. I planned on just replacing the door completely...so I have an extra door to go with it as well. I bought the door off of a fellow FABO member from Oregon last summer.

So, in summary:
69 dart GT
318
71/4 rear
auto
comes with:
400 BB
727 BB
extra passenger door
Ford 8.8 rear end out of an explorer

If I can sell it to one of you guys here on FABO who have been an amazing group and tons of help, I'd prefer that. I'm listing it here before I try craigslist or ebay.

In the spirit of full disclosure
I paid 4300 for it when I bought it two summers ago, not including the door, rear end, 400 and BB727..
I'd like to get something close to that for the car, door, and rear end.

If someone wants the 400 and 727 to go with it:
I'd like 5000 or best offer.

I understand people can be weary of buying a project in mid-tear down....I would be too.
So, if any of you have questions/concern don't hesitate to ask.
This website and this community have been great to be part of. I'm not looking screw anyone over. So please ask.....

Thanks all
Mike

Sorry...that probably would have helped. Here's pics of the rust areas.
where you see primer, that's simply where I began exploring the extent of the rust. I took it down to metal in order to fully explore and put some primer back on to protect the metal.
