Recommendations for a car stereo set-up?

I have a funny story that led me to find this thread. I took my 3 year on a 40 mile drive today to see Oneida Lake. " He said, daddy can you play some music in the car?" My 64 Dart Gt is a radio delete car, so I found an amplified hidden antenna on Amazon, a Nice Pioneer 50 watt per channel with all the bells and whistles including remote and ipod hook up model DEH1300mp, it is also the most popular at only $63.00. I think I will go for the Rockford Fosgate R1693 model, priced at $53.74 pair, to replace the Sparkomatics currently mounted under the package tray. I have been told that it is not necessary to cut openings for the speakers, and still get good sound, this will not alter my delete car's appearance. I am debating on using a universal bracket material with holes already in it, and bend the two 90 degree turns, or use a universal underdash mount. I want to keep it simple. I have it all in my Amazon cart and have not pulled the trigger yet.

Sounds like an excellent setup to me. iPod hook up, remote, nicer speakers, yep that'll work good and keep radio delete status
