Uhh you can wake up now... 83% of the voters don't like the little boxes they have to view FABO. Because of the internet I personally
don't waste my time and money on magazines. The way I look at it most of the 83% have a resentment towards the ads so I doubt very seriously that 83% will patronize the ad sponsors. I truly don't believe I would.

Heck man.... all we're asking is to single the ad line out like it used to be not REMOVE the ads......... just unstack the damn things!!

Personally I find the internet can't replace sitting down in a comfortable chair...drink close by ...with the latest issue of Mopar Muscle or whatever.

Also, it's 100% American made...the writing..photography...printing...postage...paper (perhaps Canadian). Not many other manufacturers come that close.

LOL! You're a funny guy!
Is that comfortable chair you're sitting in ... I guess its 100% American made?
The table your glass is sitting on.... it's American made too.
How about your TV, coffee maker, cell phone, computer, and the rest of the material things you own..... they're 100% American made as well .... right??

Is that all .... are you done now?

I would like to see less ads for Gold members. $35 a year is the most I pay for any forum that I use. This forum has the most ads showing to it's paying members of any site I'm on.

Whooo partner, why so angry?

Actually you're right....the beverage is from Scotland.

Nothing wrong with the ads cause they help pay for this place. The double row isn't too bad either but I prefer a single row. May be Joey can't put the overflow on page 2. He could possibly alternate small ads. How much does an ad cost anyway? tmm

I don't know....

It's like this for me. This is my favorite forum I venture everyday all year long and when it gets tinkered with I don't like it. lol

I guess the small post boxes aren't that bad....something I will have to get used to I assume.

I believe the ink is imported as well as the paper.

That would make up most of the materials needed to produce it. Not even close to 100%.

But the ink is being imported to use in a USA print shop, employing Americans. I also forgot to include ad sales and support staff....all domestic.

I've got the ads blocked just can't achieve the lost space back to right under "FABO Sponsors"

Adblocker has a feature where it can remove certain parts of the webpages but I havent been able to figure that one out yet.

You may or may not be correct. I don't have the time or interest to research that publication. I do know this. A lot of magazines are not printed here. The copy is sent out to a large print publishing company,

i dont mind the adds either way... sometimes i get curious and click on them for "window shopping" but most of the time i just ignore them..

Well, I was actually referring to a majority of the magazines sold by US publishers. Believe it or not most if not all are printed in the US. Consumer magazines with circulations reaching 1 million, it would be cost prohibitive to print out side the US, shipping would kill any profit. B to B magazines with smaller circulations are printed in the US. Besides ink and paper, which might be imported, it's really a US based industry.

So do the patriotic thing as we approach July 4th and go to your local new stand and buy a magazine!

End of sermon.

Thank You Father pacuda59

I enjoy a good sermon LOL

Well, I probably went on more than I should have but when you log 30 years in an industry, there's a certain sense of pride.

Thanks for your indulgence.

No problem. I figured with your passion you were somehow involved in the industry.

Asa I really don't think that or the amount of gold members is the issue. That's joeys business, and this forum is a business.

I would just like to see the sponsor ads back in a single file like on all the sister forums.
