Top?? Bottom?? Or both?? Also would it technically be in the passenger compartment?? I know there is a weather strip that goes across the top on the inside for the verts.

Steve I am having a heck of a time describing this, it is under the outside stainless thick moulding on the sides and top header, but not on the inside(there is more!!!!!)
Dave

Or are you looking for some type of rubber kit? This isn't for a Barracuda so it is just to get an idea of what you are looking for.

Hey 340mouse- remember we also have a Convertible Forum now for any vert particular questions. I think you will find alot of help there...
but it seems Oklacarcollecto and 4spdragtop are on top of things AGAIN! You guys never cease to amaze me... thats why I love this site. Thanks for always helpin out!

The A-pillar posts on the vert were reshaped to make them stronger. Top of the windshield frame was altered also. This leaves a void between that and the stainless trim that corrects to contour and appearence. The factory filled that void with a adhesive backed foam. It serves no sealing purpose but can prevent wind noise, insect nests, etc..
Any hardware/home improvement store will have a similar and suitable material in their weatherstrips.

I am pretty sure it is just foam that goes under the thick stainless trim, then I found a piece of weatherstrip in the bin, I think it goes between the a pillar and the vent window(I need these), thanks for all the help, I really want to get cruising.
Thanks Dave

Don't make the mistake of getting some kind of foam that will hold water and cause rust. The foam I posted above is $14.00 including shipping.

Anyone know where I can get (Ithink they are called ) pillar post weatherstrips, between the vent window and the A pillar.
Thanks Dave
