Quick question... I put a set of Eddy Magnum style heads/intake on my 1970 360 block... I need to change my throttle cable linkage to make it work. Any suggestions? Part numbers or pics of what you've done??? many thanks.:prayer:

Lokar throttle cable. CSR makes a real nice bracket. I'll post up some pics latter.

Ok i did find 2 part numbers(still valid numbers) Throttle cable bracket M.P. #P 4876850 and Throttle cable return spring bracket M.P. #P 4876313

I did that swap on an '87 360 block. Used stock throttle cable and Lokar KD cable. Watch your pushrod length, pushrod clearance and where the roller rockers sit on your valve spring. I actually had to remove some material from the intake side of the head for clearance, I could just get my fingernail inbetween the pushrod hole and the pushrod. I also had to give the lock nut for the roller rocker an extra half turn so it would sit at the right location. I had the pushrods from MOPAR for the stock magnum conversion but MOPAR discontinued that part. You may have to get a set made. I have a Comp Cams Hyd flat tappet cam. I like this swap, woke my engine up a bit. Found out later that the heads had the infamnous hairline crack between the valves. Use ARP bolts and lube
If I can help you at all shoot me a message.

Thx for the reply whitey... the engine is finished and installed in the car. And yes we had to machine the heads for push rod clearance too. I haven't run into very many problems. Although the alternator bracket doesn't fit(the Magnum heads are 1'-1.5' longer)... which alternator bracket did you use to accommodate the stock alternator??
