This was a originally a 318cid engine, stroked over to 390cid. It has been professionally rebuilt by my machine shop (cleaned, checked for cracks, stroker crank clearanced, black powdercoated. bored/honed and decked) using the following parts:

mopar performance stroker crank, SCAT H-Beam rods, ICON forged pistons, ARP main studs, comp cams camshaft, Clevite main/rod/camshaft bearings

I also have a milodon windage tray, mopar performance high volume oil pump, comp cams timing set, various gaskets, 10mm Livewire plug wires, oil pan, and timing chain tensioner on the motor.

This was going into my drag car, but I have to sell...thanks economy! $2000 obo,

Wow. hydraulic roller block too.

Was it balanced? What compression ratio?

Thanks,

Steve

Yep, it's got a HR cam in it if that number is correct.

Be a solid runner.

since its a hr cam you would have to use magnum heads or would you im in nc and it is tempting baddd:D

nope, you wouldn't have to. I had it built for what exact parts I had...which were edelbrock LA aluminum heads (already sold). You are pretty close, if you buy this little guy I could meet you 1/2 way to cut down on driving and gas $$. I also have a 904 trans I'll throw in the deal, nothing done to it...if you want it. Its just taking up space here.

....I keep writing lengthy posts that seem to disappear! Geez! anyway, no you can use LA heads I had it built for the way the motor is now and the aluminum edelbrocks I had (aleady sold on ebay). I also have a 904 just ataking up space in my garage that I can throw in the deal if anyone wants it. 345man, you live pretty close but I can always meet you 1/2 way to cut down on the drive and gas money. Just food for thought!

here is another pick, just to keep the juices flowing!

do you have the lifters and has cam been degreed and all clearances and such checked? thanks
:D

You'd have to make sure the cam either has the holes or grooved journals to feed the rocker shafts if planning on LA heads.

I sold the heads before I got head gaskets for this so I never got to check the clearances. No I haven't degreed the cam in, I always do it once the heads are attached, cause I'm paranoid in some difference in motion once the head is installed! The original hydro-rollers were in bad shape, I disassembled/cleaned them, but they were just too gunked up for me to use them confidently. This motor had over 200k before I had it rebuilt, proves they are workhorses!

I got half way through building an engine identical to this one and it didnt pan out also. I hope someone here buys it and dynos it for us all to see what it can do!

to bad this wont fit in a flat rate usps box to ship it to ohio....nice motor good luck with the sale

Interested in selling cam separately ? I'm looking for something similar to have ground up , thanks
