Brazilian Mopar

Andre; Only too glad to be of some service! I am glad you got the car done and are driving it now. That is what they were designed to do;be driven!

I am double glad you got great results as I am doing pretty much the same upgrades, but my car may not be done for a long time.

Thanks a lot needaresto! You were one of the guys that always check my updates and comment every step. If you need some help, let me know!

Keep doing the car stuff, one day your Mopar will be burning the road! Hows it´s going?

Hugs from Brasil!

Actually going rather well!! I have taken a break from car stuff due to a $10 000 insurance claim after my basement flooded this spring, and then changed my diet completely to something called the paliolithic diet. This diet has helped my medical condition (called multiple sclerosis) so much that I am now concentrating on rebuilding my atrophied muscle tissue. No fear though, because it looks as if my 360 small block is sold! I can now use the funds to get my car up to a friends house where it will be sand blasted free of labour charges, plus he will finance the material costs for me!!

So glad you asked,as many positive changes are coming my way. Even though I have been off work and disabled,I am still winning this battle.

What can I say. WINNERS NEVER QUIT!!!!

Andre,do you have a Facebook account?

Thats great you are enjoying your mopar! Reliable as anything out there, these A bodies were meant for driving! I'm sooooo glad your Dart is not a trailer queen, lol.

Myself,I am fighting my house again,as we once more had torrential rain and the water entered my basement once more. So now I am busting out the weeping corner and using a product called zypex to seal up the cement.

Every time I even think about working on my Dart,I am commanded by circumstance to work on this stupid house. At least my new diet has allowed some more energy for working on it! I am now capable of a couple hours heavy hammer swinging before I must rest. This morning I was swinging a 12lb sledge hammer for several minutes!

You would think that sooner or later this house would run out of emergency issues to deal with, but sadly not yet.:banghead:

Car looks great , sits nicely , looks like the work you did paid off . Enjoy the car

Hello Jerry!

Sad to ear your house history, but that´s life sometimes we have good times other bad. Hope you fix all that and work on your Mopar to put it back on streets where he belongs.

Thanks for all support, any help let me know.

Andre you did a great job on your suspension. Your car is looking good.

Yes Andre,we are friends on FB now!

Eventually time will allow for me to get to Dart restoration so you will see that through pics on FB,but not here. There has been waaay to much negativity here so I am not posting to any of my build threads here.

And your Dart looks as if it handles very nicely! See,you DONT NEED a $4000 suspension conversion. Just a few tweaks to the stock suspension is all thats needed!

Cliff!!!

Great to ear from you! You help me a lot! Thank you for your kindness and help!

See ya friend!

Andre I didn't do much, but I am glad to see you have finished your suspension. I bet your car handles great.

Well,it's a universal fit toolwill work on 13" to 18" wheels so it's not limited in it's use. Other than that I cant help,as I've never owned anything like it. Always pay for my alignments ;P

Andre, while you have the lower control arms off, you might want to weld stiffening plates to the bottom of the control arms, just my opinion....great car by the way, google "alignment tools" I'm sure you can find a better deal, even if you have to make it yourself...
