That should have a 8 3/4 if the original rear is there. Possibly a Kelsey Hayes disc brake set up too. Chrome trim around rear glass and windshield. Has one of the wide wheels on the right front. I see a lot of goodies on this one.

Guy has been trying to sell that car for about two years, and is SUPER rusty. He also has a 68(?) 383 fastback.

car has little rust..TEXAS CAR they dont rust there... lower qtrs, rear floor and under vinyl top THATS IT!..come and see for yourself before making stuff up...

I have seen it, but I did think that fastback was SUPER cool! Oh I see you have that a body for sale, does it work?

So maybe some trim. Rearend. Maybe brakes. Do you think it has rear disc brakes? I might want those.

If that is his idea of minor rust, I can't imagine what he thinks major rust is. I see 30k just to get the body back in shape.

its very very MINOR RUST..come look and you will see that too... easy to be an armchair qtrback..

Are we talking about the same car? I'm looking at the pics. I see major rust through in the lower qtrs, rust through in the sail panels, and major rust through, around the rear window.

I repair this stuff for a living. Just giving you my professional opinion.

If it's your car, post a correct "FOR SALE" add. Just posting an ebay link leaves it open to be criticized.

The car is clearly misrepresented in reference to the rust.

huh?..there is no MAJOR RUST in this car.... you consider lower qtr rust and lead seam on the roof to be MAJOR??.. WOW!... hope you never have to restore a car then...10-12 hours worth of metal repair tops here....and yes the entire car will need to be stripped of all old paint.... 10-12k body and paint here...

Really? I guess if your idea of metal work is tin, pop rivets and body filler.

its a 100.00 car .... ...metal work is nothing as long as the structure is sound.. just a little welding and grinding..i bet this car has less rust than your barracuda had... i.ve owned over 40 67-9 barracudas and this car is NOT RUSTY.... good luck in your bidding heck you might get the car for 100.00... its worth 2-3k parted out..

major rust. the entire top, trunk ,quarters, floors would all have to be replaced, thats without seeing the front rails.

Less rust than mine? The only rust mine has ever had is the same rust it still has. A dime size spot in the quarter behind the left rear wheel. My car is un-restored and had one repaint in 1975.

The previous owner, a good friend of mine, got the car in 1979, from a friend of his that did the repaint. That guy still lives here in town too. Hell, they both live within 7 miles of me. I know the direct history of my car, and at any moment, can speak to the owners all the way back to 1975. I have been around this car for over 30 years. In that 30 years it has seen 2500 miles.

LOL

that thing is a rust bucket. needs lotsa work.. thank God AMD makes quarter panels for the 67-69 barracudas now. I need a passenger side quarter for my 68 fish.

you guys are too funny...parting car out too.... getting so many requests for parts....

Why didn't you say it was your car when you posted the auction? Tell us more about what the car has to offer because the auction ad is sure lacking in details. Is it an 8 3/4, does it have disc brakes, dash and etc...?

I just recieved this email from eBay......

MC203 eBay Listing Removed (674262327)

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Thanks for bidding on the auction-style listing:

130725033924 - Plymouth : Barracuda 340 P CODE

Unfortunately, we had to remove this listing and cancel all bids. We don't like to remove listings -- it's disappointing for everyone -- but sometimes we need to do it.

There are three main reasons why we remove listings:
-- The listing doesn't follow eBay guidelines.
-- The item isn't allowed on eBay or can only be listed under certain conditions.
-- The listing contains pictures or words that may create copyright or trademark issues.

If the seller is able to fix the problem and relist the item, we hope you'll bid on it again.

Sometimes, instead of relisting an item, a seller will suggest that you buy it directly from him or her, off eBay. If that happens, please don't accept. If anything goes wrong with the purchase, we won't be able to help you.

-- If you have questions --
Due to concerns about member privacy, we can't share any details about why the listing was removed, but we'd be glad to answer any other questions you might have. Here's the best way to contact us:
1. Click "Help" at the top of most eBay pages. You may need to sign in.
2. Click "Contact Us."
You'll be asked to describe what's going on, and we'll suggest the best way to get in touch.

We're really sorry about the inconvenience.

Sincerely,

eBay Trust and Safety team
