I saw one of these in use at a friend's shop recently and just had to have one. A bit pricey, but I hate moving drop lights around under the hood all the time. This thing hooks underneath the hood and lights up the whole engine bay :D

I can post a pic later, if anyone is interested.

Very slick light IMO

Yeah, we have them at work. A bit pricey but they are handy as hell.

The internet photos don't do this light any justice IMO. Here it is hooked to my Demon hood. The mounting brackets are kinda rubber coated and not supposed to scratch your paint, but I used some microfiber towels just in case :D

I have a similar one to that, it has LEDs, and a Li Ion battery, so no leads, and lasts about 8 hrs before requiring charging, and it's fairly bright too.....I got it for half price at $89 from a REPCO store.

I have one very similiar has LED bulbs it works great. I know if anything ever happen to it id be gettin a new one quick.

Only bad thing about this light is glare. It is really bright. I have two Snapon units that I use.

I'm not as familiar with LED's, but one nice thing about this light is the replacement bulb is a 30watt T8 that's readily available at your local Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

I've only had it for a couple of days, so I can't comment much on the glare yet. Does the Snap-On one rotate like this one does?
