I've never run a transmission cooler before... but the Be Cool rad I bought isn't set-up to cool the transmission fluid. So I bought this one from
B & M.(11 X 5.75 X 1.5) I have 360/904 combo going into the car. Is this the right size for me????

Many thanks.:newb:

I don't think the factory radiators are super efficient coolers for the transmission - I think pretty much any trans cooler will do at least as good as the factory did...but don't take my word for it!!

i thought the stock 8" tube in the lower tank (at 160 degrees) was for heat, and your fluid should be about 180.
i use a 5 x 11 plate style and a Dynamic 91/2 converter.
i don't think it's been above 160,and i don't baby it

I think unless your running a big converter(3500+) that will work just fine.

It is for both heating and cooling. Your correct that the fluid should not be too cold. I have done some temperature measurements of the lines going in and coming out after running my car hard and there is a cooling effect also.
