Towing with a 66 Barracuda with a newer & rebuilt 904
BTW, for those that may actually be curious ... regarding Nader:
Research wasn't enough for me. I owned a '62 Corvair for 7 or 8 years - I speak form actual experience. I just had to find out for myself what all the hype was about. Worst issue I had was when a tire installer didn't bother to look up appropriate tire pressures ... and that's part of his job. Aside from that, it was one of the best handling, most reliable cars I'd ever owned (and I've had quite a few over the years).
How much more of an idiot was Nader? The Corvair was set to be discontinued by GM in 65 or 66. As a result of Nader & all the publicity, they continued producing the car through 1969 ... so much for Nader killing the Corvair.
... just some trivia
